Troop Meetings

Troop Meetings are held every Monday from September-May at Woodside Presbyterian Church from 7:30-9 pm. Scouts should attend in their uniform shirt and bring their handbooks. All Troop Meetings consist of advancement, planning, and games. Older Scouts plan and conduct the meetings, and will mentor and assist the younger Scouts in their Advancement.

March 15-16 - BMX Biking trip or Camping/ Cooking Merit Badge Trip

April 5-6 - Backpacking at Thunder Swamp, Delaware State Forest

May 3-4 - Hiking & fishing campout at Stairway Lake, Delaware State Forest

Recently Completed Events

Over the past year Troop 30 Scouts:

​

  • Attended high adventure camp at Summit Scout Reservation

  • Sailed the Florida Keys at Florida High Adventure Sea Base

  • Rode horses and learned horsemanship in Pipersville, PA 

  • Backpacked in Pinchot State Forest in the Poconos

  • Biked through Gettysburg Battlefield while learning Civil War History

  • Camped among the wild horses on Assateague Island 

  • Hiked the Appalachian Trail

  • Navigated a COPE ropes course and learned engineering at Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation

  • Camped and helped restore historic Treasure Island camp in the Delaware River

  • Enjoyed the roller coasters of Hershey Park

  • Skied at Shawnee Mountain

  • Held their annual cooking competition campout

  • Performed acts of service within the local community

  • Attended the National Jamboree
