Adult Leadership
Troop 30 B and G have a robust leadership. More than 10 adult leaders are former Scouts, and many are Eagle Scouts themselves. There are a variety of male and female leaders with decades of personal and professional experience.
Safety
Troop 30 B and G adhere to the BSA and PA state safety standards for working with youth. All our volunteers must complete BSA Youth Protection Training every two years and have approved Pennsylvania clearances for working with children. Additionally, we have a number of adults that have completed the BSA Scoutmaster Training, Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS), Safe Swim Defense, Safety Afloat, and other outdoor skill specific trainings.
Merit Badge Counseling
Both Troop 30 B and G have a number of counselors available in a wide array of merit badges, including all Eagle required badges.
